By the time we got to Oslo it was raining so our first stop was the
KonTiki Museum. I had been fascinated by the story of Thor
Heyerdahl's travels when I was a teenager. This museum showed several
of his voyages and a full size raft. There was a piece of balsa wood to
lift up. It was really light – like pumice stone.

As it had cleared up when we got out we were able to go visit the
Vigeland Park. Gustaf Vigeland had created numerous statues
representing the circle of life. From babies to old people.
Fascinating. So many tourists – many were Asians and many selfie
sticks!
Time for food so we found a close by restaurant. It was called
Billabong. Not sure if it was trying to be Australian. Had a chicken
curry there.
We wandered along the waterfront so I tried out the seating.
