I
was disappointed that I could not see a sign that said Oslo!
My third cousin twice removed met me at the airport to drive me to
their home in Moss. Managed to get a photo of the place where you pay
your parking ticket. That is Margaret – my cousin in blue on the
right.
Over
an hours drive to get to her place. Lots of lovely tall trees. Felt a
bit cooler than London. It was so strange seeing all the road signs in
Norwegian. I was comfortable with being on the wrong side of the road
until we came to roundabouts. It is the strangest feeling entering
and exiting a roundabout to the right, not the left.
For
dinner we had trout, new potatoes and salad. I havent eaten trout
before. It was like a mild salmon. Helped me realise what a blessing
home cooking is.
